Bob

Bob was a rescue dog and our first TFT. Dianne had grown up with a TFT and had always wanted a small dog to sit on her lap. She applied with to Seattle Dog Rescue to adopt a TFT. As you probably know, TFTs are hard to come by in a rescue situation. A year passed before Dianne heard back from the rescue association. She received a call about three rescue TFTs whose owner had abandoned them, leaving them alone in a vacant house.

Dianne could not get there fast enough - unbeknownst to the rest of the family. When she arrived at dogs' home, Bob jumped right into Dianne's son's arms and held on as tight as he could. Dianne knew then that Bob was coming home with them. Poor Bob was sick all the way home. When Randy first saw him, he said, "What is that? I am not living with a rat on a leash!"

Later that day, Dianne had errands to run in town and left Bob and Randy at home to get acquainted. Upon her return, she found Randy on the couch napping with Bob. What a sight! This was the start of Bob's life with us. He has since earned his way under the covers, gone to many horse shows, AKC hunt tests, dog shows, and anywhere else he can manage to persuade us to take him.

Bob has had many medical expenses, due to poor feeding and care when he was young, but he still seems to come out on top. He is now 13 and still ticking!
